These large, nocturnal creatures are clearly not of this world, but live in it nonetheless. While they lack any teeth, the partnan are omnivorous, and must first dissolve their food with their acidic saliva, which they can also hurl at their enemies. before they eat it.
The partnan were crafted from elemental earth by Kabutano in the Second Age.
Solitary hunter-gatherers, the parnan are rare indeed. They prefer to travel by night in search of food. Some have ventured into the cities of others to make due as mercenaries.
PARTNAN (14 RP)
+2 Str, +2 Wis, -2 Int (0 RP): Strong and insightful, the partnan are nonetheless simple.
Type (3 RP): Partnan are Native Outsiders with the Earth subtype.
Large Size (7 RP): Large creatures gain a +2 size bonus to Strength and a –2 size penalty to Dexterity. Large races take a –1 size penalty to their AC, a –1 size penalty on attack rolls, a +1 bonus on combat maneuver checks and to their CMD, and a –4 size penalty on Stealth checks. A Large creature takes up a space that is 10 feet by 10 feet and has a reach of 5 feet.
Slow Speed ( -1 RP): Partnan have a land speed of 20 feet due to their clumsy feet and large, dragging tail.
Burrow Speed (3 RP): Partnan have a burrow speed of 20 feet.

- Darkvision (60 ft) ( – ): As native outsiders, partnan can see in the dark up to 60 feet.
- Digestive Spray (3 RP): Once per day, as a standard action, partnan can hurl a 20-foot line of acid as a supernatural breath weapon attack that deals 3d6 points of damage. All creatures within the affected area must make a Reflex saving throw to avoid taking damage. The save DC against this breath weapon is 10 + 1/2 the user’s character level + the user’s Constitution modifier. Those who succeed at the save take no damage from the attack.
- Light Sensitivity ( -1): Partnan are dazzled as long as they remain in an area of bright light, such as sunlight.
